Google has finally launched its new social product, Buzz, at an event held at its Mountain View, CA headquarters. Google Buzz is an easy way to start conversations, share updates, photos, videos, add comments and much more - right from a Gmail account. The updates, which are often termed as 'Buzz', are available in real-time to the users right in their Gmail Inbox.
Head to http://buzz.google.com and check if it is being made available to you from your PC or iPhone/Android browser. Yes, Google Buzz has also been rolled out for iPhone and Android platform, leaving the rest mobile platforms behind for the time being. Buzz is free from any sign-up or setup hassles.

Google Inc injected social networking features into its popular Web email product as the world's No. 1 search engine seeks to fend off competition from Facebook and Twitter. Google introduced a new product dubbed Google Buzz on Tuesday that allows users to quickly share messages, Web links and photos with friends and colleagues directly within Gmail, the company's popular email product. And the company unveiled a handful of new products designed to make the new social networking features suited to mobile devices, like smartphones based on Google's Android operating system.
Google's new social networking technology mimics some of the key features of popular social networking services like Twitter and Facebook, which are increasingly challenging Google for web surfers' online time.

Google.com on Wednesday launched a new social networking tool 'Buzz' putting it in direct competition with Facebook and Twitter. Buzz, which would be integrated into Gmail (Google's email platform), lets users share updates, photos and videos.
The tool, which is being rolled out to users slowly, can also be integrated with Twitter, Flickr, and Google's other tools like Reader and Picasa. To access Buzz, users must log into their Gmail and check the new tab under the inbox link.
Much like Facebook, comments on updates and shared items appear in real time, and notifications are sent to the user's Gmail inbox. Buzz is also available on cellphones, and has been integrated with Google Maps for users to update on the go.
